Mirziyoyev will visit to Turkey

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will undertake an official visit to Turkey on June 6, following an invitation from the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This announcement was made by the President's press service.

During this visit, the third meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council, chaired by both presidents, is scheduled to take place in Ankara.

The summit's agenda includes discussions on the further development and strengthening of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkey.

"Special attention will be given to expanding practical cooperation, notably increasing trade volume and promoting collaboration in various sectors such as industry, 'green' energy, electrical engineering, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture, particularly within the framework of the public-private partnership program," the press release stated.

The visit will also address the continuation of active cultural and humanitarian exchanges. The leaders will exchange views on current international political issues.

Several bilateral documents are expected to be signed as a result of the high-level negotiations.

Additionally, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkey will hold their first joint meeting with the heads of leading enterprises and companies from both countries.
