Mirziyoyev expresses condolences to Trump

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has sent a letter of condolences to the President of the United States, Donald Trump. This was reported by the Presidential Press Secretary, Sherzod Asadov.

The letter of condolences was sent in connection with the numerous deaths, injuries, and significant losses caused by the devastating tornadoes that occurred in the central and southern states of the United States.

“The head of our state wishes patience and fortitude to the families of the deceased, and a speedy recovery to the injured,” Asadov wrote.

For your information, on March 15, the Storm Prediction Center declared the highest danger level for Alabama and Mississippi. Wind speeds reached 130 km/h, and 27 tornadoes were recorded in the United States in just one day. The storm affected an area with a population of more than 100 million.

More than 236,000 homes in the southern states were left without power. Kansas also experienced dust storms due to the hurricane. In addition, there was a traffic accident involving 50 cars. A mall in Missouri was destroyed. These weather events threaten the lives of 138 million people. Currently, the number of victims has reached 39.
