Mirziyoyev congratulates the people of Tajikistan

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon and the people of the country on Independence Day, the Tajik Presidential press service reported.

’’Dear Emomali Sharifovich! I am pleased to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you and the brotherly Tajik people on the occasion of Tajikistan’s national holiday, Independence Day. Since achieving independence, under your wise leadership, significant political, social, and economic reforms have been implemented in the country, major construction and development works carried out, and high achievements attained in all spheres of life’’, Mirziyoyev’s congratulatory message stated.

In addition, the President of Uzbekistan noted that, as a brotherly nation, he is deeply pleased with Tajikistan’s rapid development under Emomali Rahmon, its remarkable achievements on the global stage, and its growing international prestige. He expressed confidence that the bonds of friendship between the peoples will continue to strengthen, and that strategic partnership and alliance relations, based on traditional neighborliness and mutual support, will steadily develop.

’’Taking this opportunity, I wish you, dear Emomali Sharifovich, strong health, family happiness, new successes in your responsible state activities, and I wish the brotherly Tajik people peace, prosperity, and sustainable development’’, Mirziyoyev said.

Tajikistan will celebrate its national holiday, Independence Day, tomorrow, September 9. In addition to Mirziyoyev, congratulations have also been sent to President Rahmon by Russian President Vladimir Putin, U.S. President Donald Trump, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow, and others.
