Shavkat Mirziyoyev concludes Samarkand visit, returns to Tashkent

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev returned to Tashkent today, March 22, after completing his visit to the city of Samarkand, according to the presidential press service.
At the start of his visit, the President visited the Imam Bukhari Mausoleum, where verses from the Quran were recited and prayers were offered.
During the trip, he was also presented with a project aimed at the restoration and improvement of the Imam Maturidi complex in Samarkand.
Before concluding his visit, Mirziyoyev visited the Hazrati Khizr complex and paid respects at the mausoleum of Uzbekistan’s First President, Islam Karimov.
