President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded the employee of the two holy mosques - King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud with the highest award of the country - the Order “High-ranking Imam Bukhari.” This is reported by the press service under the president’s administration.

It should be noted that this order has recently been established in accordance with the Act of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 15 August.

It is awarded to scientists, researchers, writers, and leaders of foreign countries and governments for special services in the development of knowledge, study, and wide dissemination of the heritage of scholars of the Islamic world.

Salman bin Abdulaziz is the first person to receive this award.
