Mirziyoyev and his Wife Depart for China

The Presidential Press Service reported that the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and his wife, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, have arrived in the People's Republic of China for a state visit.  Their presidential plane landed at Xi'an International Airport, where flags were raised and an honor guard was assembled to welcome the esteemed guests.  A solemn ceremony took place, featuring national songs and dances.

The Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, Hu Heping, along with the Governor of Shaanxi Province, Zhao Gan, and other officials, extended a warm welcome to the leader of Uzbekistan.

As per the visit program, Shavkat Mirziyoyev is scheduled to hold talks with the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, on the 18th of May.  Additionally, he will be participating in the inaugural "Central Asia-China" summit on the 19th of May.
