Mirziyoyev meets with the heads of major Chinese companies

Mirziyoyev convened a meeting with key figures from prominent Chinese corporations on May 3rd, as part of the third Tashkent investment forum at the Koksaroy residence, as reported by the Presidential Information Service.

During the session, President Mirziyoyev and Van Bo, the chairman of "CAMCE" corporation, deliberated on the construction of an Olympic town in Tashkent and the broadening of project portfolios encompassing energy, industry, and infrastructure.

With a wealth of experience in Uzbekistan, CAMCE specializes in providing comprehensive solutions spanning financing, construction, and operation of major projects.

The discussion with Tsao Zhigan from "Goldwind" centered on the company's potential involvement in Uzbekistan's renewable energy sector, particularly in "green" energy initiatives. Goldwind, a global leader in wind turbine manufacturing, focuses on advancing wind energy technologies. Both parties agreed to expedite ongoing projects and localize the production of wind power components.

In talks with China Southern Power Grid, projects concerning the construction of wind power plants in the Bukhara region, hydro storage stations, and nationwide high-voltage lines were on the agenda.

"Holley Group" has made significant strides in Uzbekistan's electric meter production. An accord was reached to establish a technology park in the Tashkent region, aiming to attract major Chinese corporations to participate in its development.
