Mirziyoyev will not attend the event in Kyrgyzstan where Putin is expected to arrive

The expected visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan tomorrow, 9 December has been cancelled.  The visit will be held at a later date. This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Aybek Moldogoziyev.

According to the Deputy Minister, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will not come to Kyrgyzstan for the summit of heads of state of the Eurasian Economic Union.

He reiterated that Uzbekistan has observer status in the OIE and Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov will go to Bishkek to participate in the summit.

"As for the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan, it will be held separately," says Aybek Moldogoziyev.

It should be recalled that Shavkat Mirziyoyev will leave for the Kyrgyz Republic on 9 December.

On 9 December, a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be held under the chairmanship of President Sadir Japarov.
