Mirziyoyev receives the Prime minister of Kyrgyzstan

Today, May 2, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Kyrgyz Prime Minister Oqilbek Japarov as part of the third Tashkent International Investment Forum. "AKIPress" reported on it.

It is noted that during the meeting, the development of trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan was discussed, including increasing the volume of mutual trade, joint implementation of large investment and infrastructure projects, as well as cooperation in energy, transport, logistics, and cultural and humanitarian spheres. Development issues were also addressed.

"Additionally, discussions encompassed the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, the development of the Qambar Ota-1 hydroelectric power station, and the initiation of two more HPS projects on the Chotqol River. The meeting took place within the framework of the third Tashkent International Investment Forum," the message stated.
