Rome - The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is set to embark on an official visit to Italy from June 7 to June 9, 2023. The visit comes as a result of an invitation extended by Italian President Sergio Mattarella, and it aims to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.

The visit will kick off with a series of high-level meetings scheduled to take place in Rome. President Mirziyoyev is slated to engage in talks with President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Georgia Meloni, providing an opportunity for discussions on various areas of mutual interest and cooperation.

An important aspect of the visit will be President Mirziyoyev's meeting with Sui Dunyuy, the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, headquartered in the Italian capital.
