Mirziyoyev will travel again tomorrow

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Astana on 27 October to participate in the first meeting of the heads of state in the "Central Asia - European Union" format.  This was reported by the Presidential Press Service.

The President of the Council of Europe Charles Michel and the leaders of the countries of the region will participate in the event.

 According to the agenda of the summit, prospects for the development of political dialogue, expansion of interregional cooperation, trade-economic partnership, and activation of cultural-humanitarian exchanges will be discussed.

The President of the Council of Europe, Charles Michel, is expected to arrive in the Republic of Uzbekistan this evening.

On 28 October, high-level negotiations between Uzbekistan and the EU will take place.  A wide range of issues related to bilateral and multilateral cooperation of Uzbekistan with the European Union will be considered.

The high-ranking guest will visit the city of Samarkand during his visit to Uzbekistan.
