Mirziyoyev receives Erdogan’s envoy

On 2 August, the president of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Mavlud Cavusoglu.  Sherzod Asadov, press secretary of the president, gave information about this.

It is noted that as part of the Turkish delegation, Minister of Trade Mehmet Mush and Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Odil Karaismoiloglu also participated in the meeting.

"As part of the agreements reached at the highest level, the issues of further expansion of multifaceted cooperation between our countries were discussed," the report said.

Minister of Trade Mehmet Mush and Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Odil Karaismoiloglu participated in the meeting as part of the Turkish delegation.

The issues of further expansion of multilateral cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the implementation of agreements reached at a high level were considered.

At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Mavlud Cavusoglu conveyed the greetings and best wishes of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the head of state.  It was emphasized that the Turkish side fully supports the program of socio-economic reforms and political renewal implemented in New Uzbekistan, as well as the country's foreign policy aimed primarily at strengthening friendship, good neighborliness, and trust relations in the region.
