Mirziyoyev leaves for Khorezm with Erdoğan

The president of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for Khorezm region today, 30 March. The press service under the president’s office reports on this.
"The Head of State will accompany Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan there. The visit will include a pilgrimage to Khiva, -the report says.
As reported earlier, the president of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan paid an official visit to Uzbekistan between 29 - 30 March. This is his third official visit to Uzbekistan in six years.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is traditionally accompanied by the First Lady of Turkey, Emin Erdoğan.
During the visit, the second meeting of the high-level Uzbek-Turkish Council for Strategic Cooperation has been held, and a joint statement on the outcome of the dialogue including 9 agreements on cooperation in various spheres has been signed.
