Today, November 28, Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation led by Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Gargawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, the President’s press service reported.

At the start of the meeting, the minister conveyed to the Uzbek President the sincere greetings and best wishes of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the country’s Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The discussion focused on further strengthening the friendship and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the UAE, as well as implementing the agreements reached during the high-level visit to the UAE in January of this year.

It was noted with great satisfaction that over the past years, more than 300 initiatives across 40 areas have been implemented with the UAE government, including key programs such as the “Government Accelerator,” “One Million Programmers,” and “Young Leaders.”

The parties emphasized the need for the broad implementation of a new five-year program for mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at enhancing public administration efficiency.

Special attention was given to plans for reducing bureaucracy, introducing the UAE’s advanced experience in training 5 million prompt engineers in the field of artificial intelligence, and implementing projects such as “Young Generation” and the “Book Challenge.”

Preparations for upcoming high-level events were also agreed upon.

It is worth noting that, on January 15 of this year, in Abu Dhabi at the “Qasr Al-Shati” headquarters, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held both a narrow-format and an expanded meeting with their official delegations.
