The President of Uzbekistan gives new assignment to the Cabinet of Ministers due to the situation in some countries

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoev instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to take into account the situation in some of Uzbekistan’s main trading partners, and to mitigate all possible negative social and the economic consequences of each sector of the country.  He also instructed the elaboration of a detailed Plan of specific measures by the territory. The press-secretary under the President’s Office, Sherzod Asadov reported this.

According to his report, the President’s instructions to the Cabinet of Ministers gave particular attention to the stability of the financial system, the smooth operation of enterprises and the timely implementation of planned investment projects.
Industry and regional leaders have also been instructed to take additional measures to ensure the reliable operation of the transport and logistics network, taking into account the further diversification of export geography.

The governors of the regions have been assigned duties to strengthen social protection, create new jobs and accelerate the employment of the unemployed, as well as to constantly monitor inflation and prevent sharp fluctuations in prices on the consumer market.
