Mirziyoyev visits Azerbaijan in August

The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is expected to visit Azerbaijan in August.
Sherzod Fayziyev, Deputy Director of the International Institute of Central Asia in Uzbekistan and former ambassador, announced this on August 8th, as reported by Azerbaijani press.
Fayziyev shared details about the upcoming visit during a roundtable discussion focused on "Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan: New Horizons of Cooperation."
He confirmed that the Uzbekistan head's visit is scheduled for August.
As a reminder, on June 21-22, 2022, President Ilhom Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited Uzbekistan on a state invitation extended by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
