Mirziyoyev congratulates Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on his birthday

In a telephone conversation on June 29, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, warmly congratulated the national leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on his birthday. He wished him good health, family happiness, peace, tranquility, and continued prosperity for the brotherly nation of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.

President Mirziyoyev emphasized Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s personal contribution to the establishment and steady development of modern Turkmenistan, the enhancement of its international standing, and the strengthening of friendly, neighborly, and strategic relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

The national leader of the Turkmen people, in turn, conveyed the greetings of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to the President of Uzbekistan.

It was noted with particular satisfaction that in recent years, primarily due to the regular high-level meetings, bilateral cooperation between the two countries has reached an unprecedented level.

The parties also discussed current regional cooperation issues, including preparations for the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, which is scheduled to be held in Tashkent this September.
