Mirziyoyev has a call conversation with “Arqadag”

On October 14, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan held a telephone conversation with Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the national leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the President's press service.
During the call, President Mirziyoyev extended his congratulations to Berdimuhamedov on the successful organization of the international forum commemorating the 300th anniversary of the poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Firoghi. He also expressed gratitude for the warm welcome he received in Ashgabat.
The leaders discussed urgent matters concerning the further development and strengthening of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, as well as their multilateral cooperation.
Additionally, they outlined plans for future events aimed at enhancing bilateral relations.
It is worth noting that Mirziyoyev visited Ashgabat on October 10 and participated in the international forum dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Turkmen poet Makhtumkuli Firoghi on October 11. During this event, Berdimuhamedov formally presented President Mirziyoyev with the commemorative medal honoring the 300th anniversary of Makhtumkuli Firoghi and personally escorted him to the airport.
