Mirziyoyev expresses condolences on the passing of Ahmad Narzullayev

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has expressed his condolences following the passing of renowned farmer and Hero of Uzbekistan, Ahmad Narzullayev. The news was announced by the President's press service.

Ahmad Narzullayev passed away today, November 1, at the age of 68.

Born in 1956 in the Denov district of the Surkhandarya region, Narzullayev began his career with the Surkhanoziqotsanoati joint-stock company. After graduating from the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute, he held various roles at the Shargun brick factory, the 37th Mechanized Mobile Column, and the experimental production association in Denov. In 1991, he became the dedicated head of the "Lochin" farm, where he worked tirelessly for over 50 years.

"Narzullayev contributed his vast knowledge, life experience, and energy to the nation’s work. A true expert in agricultural science and a skilled organizer, he mastered modern agro-technologies and farming methods. Known for his diligence, humility, and patriotism, he made significant contributions to the agricultural reforms and development of the farming movement in our republic," the report stated.

Additionally, Narzullayev served for many years as a member of the Council of People's Deputies for both the Surkhandarya region and the Denov district, actively working toward the socio-economic advancement of these areas. He was instrumental in improving local living conditions and supporting the construction and beautification of schools, hospitals, cultural centers, and a new park. He was also dedicated to educating youth with a strong sense of patriotism and loyalty to their homeland.

Narzullayev trained numerous talented apprentices, setting a standard for nurturing skilled professionals in the agricultural sector.

For his decades of dedicated service, Narzullayev was honored with the title "Hero of Uzbekistan" and received the "Labour Fame" order.

"Our country’s agricultural sector has suffered a great loss. The bright memory of Ahmad Narzullayev—a prominent figure in agriculture, a kind mentor, and a sincere, humble individual—will forever remain in our hearts," concluded the statement.
