Recently, among Uzbeks working in the Russian Federation, there have been problems related to advertisements about the delivery of products from one address to another via the internet for a large amount of money.  The Foreign Labor Migration Agency of Uzbekistan called on citizens not to trust unofficial courier services.

“It is known from the petitions that unofficial courier services offer delivery of orders containing drugs or prohibited substances (zakladka), and as a result of this, couriers are caught by police officers and brought to criminal responsibility,” the agency said in a statement.

In this regard, the agency urged Uzbeks not to work in unofficial courier services, not to deliver suspicious items from one address to another for a large amount of money.  It is also emphasized that the product must be checked.

It should be recalled that according to the legislation of the Russian Federation, a long-term prison sentence is established for the sale or supply of narcotics.
