7383Changes to the methane refueling stations' operating hours are likely in the near future due to a sudden drop in temperatures in Uzbekistan, as reported by the press service of "Hududgaztaminot" JSC.
According to "Uzgidromet," a significant decrease in air temperature is expected nationwide from February 16 to 18. Consequently, "Hududgaztaminot" JSC announced plans to prioritize continuous natural gas supply to the population and social sector facilities.
262 emergency teams across the country have been placed on standby to promptly deliver natural gas to consumers.
Drivers are advised by "Hududgaztaminot" to refuel their vehicles in advance to avoid queues and inconvenience at gas stations due to increased gas consumption during cold weather.
Currently, all methane refueling stations in the country are operating around the clock, but their schedules may change soon in coordination with local authorities.
It's worth mentioning that on December 8 of the previous year, restrictions were enforced on the operating hours of gas compressor stations for vehicle refueling across Uzbekistan. Initially, all methane refueling stations were instructed to operate from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. However, starting from December 12, due to a cold spell, gas stations were limited to operating only from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Additional restrictions were imposed on December 13 in Tashkent and several regions, affecting 547 out of 1179 refueling stations. Subsequently, on December 15, some restrictions were relaxed.
