Central Bank launches inflation calculator: How much is 100,000 sums from 1999 worth today?

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has introduced an inflation calculator that enables users to determine the inflation-adjusted value of goods and services in the consumer basket. The tool is available in the monetary policy section of the Central Bank's official website.
The calculator measures price changes based on the consumer price index (CPI), providing insights into inflation trends between two selected periods. It calculates the adjusted value of a specified amount over time, as well as the average annual and monthly inflation rates.
Users can track inflation from December 1999 to January 2024. For instance, 100,000 sums in December 1999 would be equivalent to 1,233,000 sums today.
The calculator relies on monthly CPI data compiled by the Statistics Agency.
