Famous opera singer Yanika Bagryanskaya passes away

On September 7, renowned opera singer Yanika Bagryanskaya, a soloist of the Alisher Navoi State Academic Grand Theater, passed away in a clinic in Turkey after a prolonged illness. The news was confirmed by the Uzbekistan Consulate in Istanbul.
The Consulate expressed deep condolences to the family and relatives of the late artist and stated that, in cooperation with the Agency for External Labor Migration, necessary consular and legal assistance had been provided to her family.
Yanika Bagryanskaya graduated from the Tashkent State Conservatory in 1996. For over twenty years, she was one of the leading mezzo-sopranos at the theater. She was the second-place winner of the international “Romansiada” competition, actively participated in international festivals, and was widely recognized for her professional mastery, stage artistry, and dedication to the arts.
It is worth noting that earlier, Uzbek folk singer Shoberdi Bakhshi Boltaev, recipient of the “El-Yurt Hurmati” order, passed away at the age of 81.
