Presidents of Central Asia are expected to sign an important document

Central Asian countries - Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan - are planning to sign an agreement on the region at a consultation meeting in Cholponota.

The president of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Kasim-Jomart Tokayev declared that he would sign the decree, "On signing the agreement on friendship, good neighborliness, and cooperation" for the development of Central Asia between the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that the consultative meeting of the leaders of the Central Asian countries was informal, and no official documents were accepted.

The official information published by the Press Service under the president of Uzbekistan stated that several important multilateral documents are expected to be adopted at the end of the summit in Cholponota, but it was not clarified what kind of documents they are.

It should be recalled that the next meeting of the presidents of Central Asia will be held tomorrow 21 July, in Cholponota, Kyrgyzstan.  The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also take part in it.
