The Central Bank has kept its key rate unchanged at 14%. This was announced at a meeting of the Central Bank Board today, June 17.

According to the regulator, in May 2026, headline inflation fell to 5.5% year-on-year, while core inflation declined to 5.7%. Headline inflation is expected to remain around 6.5% by the end of 2026, while the economic growth forecast has been maintained at 7-7.5%.

It was reported that the increase in energy tariffs from June this year will have a short-term impact on inflation. The Central Bank’s monetary policy will remain aimed at reducing inflation to the 5% target level, ensuring macroeconomic stability and preserving the purchasing power of the population.

According to the statement, the next meeting to review the key rate is scheduled for July 29, 2026.
