What is forbidden to prepare and sell in school canteens?

6131Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, "kiryeshki", "xrustyashki", chips, energy and carbonated drinks, and similar items are prohibited from being sold in school canteens. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.
The World Health Organization recommends removing these types of products from daily menus. Additionally, these items are included in the list of foods and dishes that are banned in general education institutions in Uzbekistan.
According to the "Sanitary Rules, Norms, and Hygiene Regulations for the Organization of Meals for Students in General Secondary, Secondary Special, and Professional Educational Institutions," the following products cannot be prepared or sold in school canteens:
- Bakery products with meat, mayonnaise, ketchup, and vegetables (e.g., hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs);
- Confectionery products with artificial flavors, fragrances, dyes, and flavorings;
- "Kiryeshki", "xrustyashki", chips, and homemade soft sweets with artificial preservatives;
- Colored and colorless carbonated drinks;
- Meat, fish, and poultry that have not passed veterinary control; all heads except liver, tongue, and heart;
- Eggs with unclean or broken outer layers, or that do not meet safety requirements;
- Cans that are hermetically broken, swollen, rusted, deformed, lack labels, or lack markings for production and expiration; dates, particularly homemade canned goods;
- Cereals, flour, dried fruits, and other products infected with pests or mixtures;
- Cream confectionery (cakes and pastries);
- "Xolodets", poultry and hoofed animal legs, head rolls, lung-liver, and blood sausages;
- Unpasteurized (boiled) cottage cheese, unprocessed or canned cottage cheese, cream, homemade yogurt from epizootic-infested farms, as well as unpasteurized milk and milk products, curd, and fermented milk products containing ethanol (0.5 percent);
- Mushrooms and their products;
- Kvass;
- Raw smoked meat products and sausages, including boiled sausages;
- Vinegar, mustard, horseradish (pepper), hot peppers (red, black), and other hot spices;
- Spicy sauces, ketchup, mayonnaise, preserves, marinated vegetables, and fruits;
- Natural coffee, refreshing and energy-boosting drinks, and alcoholic beverages;
- Cooking oils, lard, margarine, and other hydrogenated oils;
- Soft drinks and morses (without heat treatment) made from cereal fruits, chewing gum, fruits, and berries;
- "Okroshka" and cold soups, eggs fried in oil, pate, meat, and cottage cheese dumplings;
- First and second meals based on fast-prepared dry food concentrates are also forbidden.
