Administrative courts revoke 13 lawyer licenses in 2024

2669In 2024, Uzbekistan’s administrative courts revoked 13 lawyer licenses, according to Supreme Court press secretary Aziz Obidov.
Throughout the year, administrative courts reviewed 95 cases related to the suspension and termination of lawyer licenses in the first instance. As a result, 50 licenses were suspended, while 13 were permanently revoked.
Additionally, in 2024, administrative courts handled 6,991 appeals against decisions made by administrative and civil self-governing bodies and officials. Of these, 2,720 cases involved the invalidation of mayor decisions, with 933 appeals from individuals and legal entities being upheld.
