“Lens” bids farewell to Khusanov (video)

The French club Lens has released a farewell video for Uzbek footballer Abdukodir Khusanov.

The video captures the 20-year-old's first day at the club, training sessions, his first game for the team, and moments such as his goal — which was officially recorded as an assist — against PSG.

"The soldier with exemplary defensive actions and a unique mental state conquered Artois. We wish you luck, Abdukodir," the video reads.

The official Ligue 1 page also commented on the video.

"See you later, Abdukodir," the caption reads.

For reference, Khusanov joined Lens from Energetik BGU in 2023 for €400,000. He has made 16 appearances for the club in all competitions this season, providing one assist.

It is also worth noting that on January 20, at 23:00 Tashkent time, Manchester City introduced Uzbekistan national team player Abdukodir Khusanov as their new player.
