The Greek-Roman wrestler Sultanbek Elmurodov was disqualified for four years due to doping. This was reported by the press service under the National Anti-Doping agency.

«In accordance with the decision of the Ethics Commission of the National Anti-Doping Agency of Uzbekistan, in October 2021 in the doping test sample of Sultanbek Elmurodov taken in the out-of-competition period, the illegal drug furosemide was found, » said the report.

Thus, Sultanbek Elmurodov was disqualified for 4 years from 23 December 2021 to 22 December 2025 for anti-doping offenses under Article 2.1 of the Anti-Doping Code.
