Information about Uzbekistan victims in Halloween tragedy in Korea

One Uzbek national was among those killed in the crowd crush incident in the capital of the Republic of Korea, Seoul.  This was reported in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

It is noted that one Uzbek citizen died as a result of this incident and another person was hospitalized with injuries.  His condition is currently assessed as satisfactory.

This situation is being monitored by the Embassy, and consular, legal, and organizational issues related to the delivery of the body of the deceased back to the country are being addressed.

There is also a permanent link with the medical institution where the Uzbek citizen lives.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan expressed its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and reminded Uzbek citizens in the territory of the Republic of Korea to contact the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Seoul if necessary.

It should be recalled that yesterday, 29 October, 151 people were killed in a crowd crush that occurred during the Halloween celebration in Seoul, the capital of South Korea.
