New leadership announced in Mining and Geology Ministry

Rustam Payzrahmanovich Yusupov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Mining and Geology, following a presidential decree, the ministry's press service announced.

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Mining and Geology with the participation of the central apparatus, as well as heads of affiliated enterprises and organizations.

During the meeting, organizational matters were discussed, and it was announced that Rustam Payzrahmanovich Yusupov had been appointed as Deputy Minister of Mining and Geology by presidential decision. Additionally, Azam Alisherovich Kodirkhojaev was appointed as Rector of the University of Geological Sciences by a government decision.

“During the meeting chaired by Minister Bobur Islomov, the significant achievements and large-scale projects being realized due to the government’s attention to the field were highlighted,” the report states.

It was further emphasized that serious attention must be paid to personnel training, and adopting international experience to achieve new milestones in education. Proper management of human resources was also highlighted as key to achieving substantial progress.

Previously, by presidential decree, Numon Usmonovich Muhammadiev was appointed Deputy Minister of Justice.
