New director was appointed to the Cinematography Agency

Shuhrat Rizayev has been named the head of the Cinematography Agency, according to the National Cinematography Development Center's information service.

Shuhrat Rizayev has served as the agency's deputy director since 2017.

Born on July 10, 1958, in Tashkent, Rizayev graduated from the Faculty of Philology at the National University of Uzbekistan. He has held various positions at the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Oybek Museum, the President's Office, the Cabinet of Ministers, and the State and Society Building Academy.

In 2017, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded him the Order of "Friendship." In 2021, he was honored with the title of "Honored Youth Coach in Uzbekistan."

It is worth noting that the former director of the Cinematography Agency, Firdavs Fridunovich Abdukholiqov, was recently appointed as the director of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, leading to his departure from the agency.
