Another incident of violence: Khorezm school principal beats students (video)

Videos circulating on social media show the principal of a school in the Khorezm region beating female students and pulling their hair. The regional Department of Preschool and School Education provided information regarding the incident.

It was confirmed that the woman appearing in the footage is the principal of School No. 14 in the Koshkopir district. The incident took place on April 7 of this year. On that day, the principal entered an 11th-grade classroom and reprimanded several female students by pulling their hair for not combing it properly. The situation escalated into a verbal altercation with one of the students.

According to the regional Department of Education, the principal was held administratively liable by the relevant authorities and was issued a disciplinary warning for behavior deemed inappropriate for an educator.

It is worth recalling that similar incidents have occurred previously. In the Altynkol district of the Andijan region, the principal of Secondary School No. 38 was reported to have brutally beaten students, allegedly in response to a student using pyrotechnics in the classroom. Additionally, in the Samarkand region, a school principal was reported to have beaten a student for not sitting quietly while speaking with a classmate during a biology lesson.
