Official who did not take the $5,000 left in her office was commended

An amount of $5,000 was left in the office of the Head of the Department of Human Resources Management and Development within the Department of Preschool and School Education in the Tashkent region. This incident was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

It was noted that on August 16th of this year, an unidentified individual left a file folder in the office of the Head of the Human Resources Management and Development Department of the Regional Preschool and School Education Department. Upon examination of the contents in the presence of impartial witnesses, it was discovered that the folder contained $5,000.

In response to this, a formal report was promptly drafted with the testimony of the head of the regional department and other responsible officials. The necessary procedures were undertaken to initiate a formal investigation.

"The current situation is being personally monitored by the Minister of Preschool and School Education, Hilola Umarova, and law enforcement agencies have been notified in accordance with the established protocol. Concurrently, appropriate investigations are underway.

Nazokat Urazova, the Head of the Department of Human Resources Management and Development of the Preschool and School Education Department of the Tashkent region, received a financial reward equivalent to three times her position salary, by the order of the minister, in recognition of her integrity," the report stated.
