Singer Shoira Otabekova involved in a car accident in Andijan (video)

Today, June 19, singer Shoira Otabekova was involved in a road accident in the Kurgantepa district of the Andijan region. The regional Road Safety Department confirmed the incident.

According to the report, at 12:20 p.m., on the 42nd kilometer of the D-138 highway passing through the territory of the "Khurobod" neighborhood (MPY) in the Kurgantepa district, Shoira Otabekova, born in 1980, was driving her BYD Song Plus vehicle toward the city of Khanabad. She lost control of the steering wheel and crashed into a roadside border fence.

No injuries were reported, though the vehicle sustained technical damage.

The Kurgantepa district police department has launched an investigation into the incident.

The singer also addressed the incident on her Instagram page, stating that she is in good condition.

“I had an accident. Someone got into the ‘Strchny’ and fled the scene. Nothing happened to me. Let’s see who is behind this,” she wrote.

It should be recalled that earlier, the chairman of the Urgut district civil court in the Samarkand region died in a separate road accident. A criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code (Violation of traffic or vehicle safety rules).
