A group of experts from the Szilin University reconstructed the appearance of a Neanderthal child found in the Teshik-Tosh cave in Uzbekistan in 3D.  This was reported by “Russian News”.

This is the first computer reconstruction of a petrified human skull using 3D reconstruction.  According to experts, the new reconstruction not only shows the appearance of people in the Eurasian region, but also allows to better study the life of Neanderthal people who lived in Central Asia.

For information, a petrified skull belonging to an 8-9-year-old Neanderthal who lived approximately 30,000 to 40,000 years ago was found in 1938.  This bone is the first Neanderthal fossil discovered in Asia.  Its discovery proved that Neanderthals moved to the East.
