Yesterday, the government of Kyrgyzstan approved the main directions of the development of railway transport for 2022-2026. This is reported by “Dunyo” (world) news agency.

The decision will not only create the conditions for further development and improvement of railway transport and railway infrastructure, but will also improve the level and quality of passenger and freight transport by railway lines.

“The development of the railway network is an area of high priority for the cabinet of Ministers. In the autumn, it is planned to start construction of the largest project in the history of our independence – the railway of China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan. It is necessary to support this project»,-the head of the cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov said at the meeting.
