Prosecutor of Karakalpakstan, appointed yesterday, receives special title

By a relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the newly appointed Prosecutor of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Shokhrukh Azamatovich Aminov, has been awarded the special title of State Adviser of Justice of the 3rd degree. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

Aminov was appointed to his current position during the extraordinary sixth session of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, held on August 1.

For reference, Shokhrukh Azamatovich Aminov was born in 1981. He holds a higher education degree in law and graduated from Samarkand State University in 2002. He served as the Prosecutor of Navoi Region from 2018 to 2020, and as the Prosecutor of Syrdarya Region from 2020 to 2022. Prior to his current appointment, he was Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that earlier, by another presidential decree, Senior Adviser to the President of Justice Jahongir Juraevich Khatamov was appointed Deputy Prosecutor General and Head of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes.
