If Fabio Cannavaro is appointed as the head coach of the Uzbekistan national football team, his coaching staff will reportedly receive a total annual salary of €4 million. With this figure, Cannavaro would become the fourth-highest-paid national team coach in the world, Sport-Express reported.
According to the source, the top five highest-paid national team coaches are led by Carlo Ancelotti (Brazil), who earns €9.5 million, followed by Thomas Tuchel (England) with €5.9 million, and Julian Nagelsmann (Germany) with €4.9 million. Cannavaro, with a salary of €4 million per year, would share the fourth position with Portugal’s head coach Roberto Martinez.
Surprisingly, despite having only two matches of coaching experience with the Chinese national team (from March 10 to April 28), Fabio Cannavaro is expected to surpass Didier Deschamps, who led France to the 2018 World Cup title in Russia. Deschamps currently earns €3.8 million per year as head coach of the French national team.
If the insider reports turn out to be true, the Ballon d’Or winner will earn the following amounts as head coach of the Uzbekistan national team:
- 109,450 soums per minute
- 6,567,000 soums per hour
- 157,608,000 soums per day
- 4,728,274,166 soums per month
- 56,739,290,000 soums per year
Earlier, it was reported that the 52-year-old specialist’s annual salary, including coaching expenses, would amount to approximately €4 million.
