4660It was decided that the construction inspection would be transferred to the government and its powers would be expanded. This was announced today, July 17, at a meeting of the video selector on the work done in the first half of the year and the future tasks, chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
At the meeting, the need to revive its activities was noted. It was reported that in the past year and a half, 22,000 objects without expertise were unreasonably allowed to be built. Last year, 1,600 objects, that were started without registration, were identified.
The necessity to strengthen penalties for constructions made without permission or deviating from the project was emphasized. It was noted that the Construction Inspection’s capabilities, including the use of technical means such as drones, will be expanded to detect such cases.
The task of digitalizing the system for obtaining technical conditions for the connection of electricity and gas supply to entrepreneurs in new construction projects was set. In this case, a system of automatically selecting a network connection point without human intervention is being introduced.
It should be remembered that earlier, the Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Economy, Botir Zokirov, was released from his position due to health reasons, and the first deputy minister, Sherzod Hidoyatov, was appointed acting minister.
