Earlier, it was reported that two buses carrying about 70 Uzbekistan citizens got stuck on the road in Kazakhstan due to bad weather.  The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan provided detailed information about the situation.

On 9 January this year at 18:00p.m., after the mechanical condition of the bus was checked, after the drivers passed a medical examination and special instructions, it left Tashkent bus station with 26 passengers on the "Tashkent-Moscow" route.

During the journey, on 10 January of the current year at approximately 22:00p.m. Tashkent time, on the "Samara-Chymkent" highway of the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan, all light, cargo, and public vehicles moving in this direction were temporarily suspended due to frost that occurred as a result of the unfavorable weather conditions.

In addition, the above-mentioned bus service was also temporarily suspended. Passengers were temporarily accommodated in a nearby mosque by the Emergency Department of the local government.

After the ice and other obstacles on the road were removed, vehicles continued on their route.  The bus on the "Tashkent-Moscow" route had also started and were passing through the border customs post of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.

According to the operational communication established with the driver, all the passengers on the bus continued their journey safely.

It is worth noting that the message released by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan stated that there were 31 Uzbeks on the bus on the "Tashkent-Moscow" route.  The Ministry of Transport noted that the bus left Tashkent bus station with 26 people.

The ministry did not provide any information about the second bus with 69 Uzbeks and three Kazakhs.
