The population of Uzbekistan has officially exceeded 37.5 million, according to a report by the Statistics Agency.

As of January 1, 2025, the permanent population of the country was recorded at 37,543,167. This figure has since risen to 37,576,322 as of January 20, 2025, at 5:14 PM Tashkent time. The demographic breakdown reveals:

- Women: 18.6 million
- Men: 18.9 million

This increase highlights the steady growth of Uzbekistan's population.

It is worth noting that global population trends predict continued growth over the next 60 years, with the total world population expected to reach 10.3 billion by the mid-2080s. However, revised projections for 2100 estimate a global population that is 6% or 700 million lower than earlier forecasts.
