Kyrgyzstan replaces ambassador to Uzbekistan, Duyshonkul Chotonov takes the post

2356Duyshonkul Chotonov has been appointed as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan. This was announced by the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan.
According to a decree signed by President Sadyr Japarov, Duyshonkul Chotonov Tezekbayevich will now serve as Kyrgyzstan's top diplomat in Uzbekistan.
For reference, Duyshonkul Chotonov was born on October 2, 1967, in Osh, Kyrgyzstan. He is an experienced diplomat who previously served as Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to South Korea from 2011 to 2015 and Vietnam from 2012 to 2015.
It should be noted that Chotonov replaces Musa Jamanboyev, who was recently released from his position as the Kyrgyz ambassador to Uzbekistan.
