Young Uzbek driver killed in Kyrgyzstan car accident

An 18-year-old man from Fergana has died in a car accident in the Kyrgyz Republic. The Fergana Regional Traffic Safety Department confirmed the incident.

According to the report, on July 21, the young man from the Lenbur neighborhood of the Sokh district was driving a Nexia-3 along the Sokh-Rishton highway, which passes through the Bujay village in the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan. He lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn into a ravine.

The driver sustained severe injuries and died at the scene.

A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to violations of traffic safety rules or vehicle operation resulting in severe consequences.

It is worth noting that earlier in the Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek, another Uzbek citizen fell into a coma following a traffic accident and was admitted to the intensive care unit of the National Hospital.
