In which regions was the highest growth rate of residential property sales observed?

In November, a decrease was observed in the real estate market of Uzbekistan.  This is stated in the analysis of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms.

It is noted that the activity in the real estate market of Uzbekistan has increased by 9% compared to the same period last year for 11 months.  Average prices in the secondary housing market increased by 15.8%, in particular, by 22.7% in the capital.

According to the center, the situation in the apartment rental market is returning to the previous equilibrium level.

The highest growth rate of housing sales was recorded in Khorezm by 38 percent, in Navoi region by 24 percent, and in the Republic of Karakalpakstan by 23 percent.

Compared to October, the price of housing for rent in Tashkent fell by 5.8% in November.  At the same time, since the beginning of the year, the average rental price in the capital has increased by more than 35 percent and is almost $10 per square meter.

The highest rental price per 1 square meter was registered in Shaikhontohur ($13.2), Mirabad ($12.3) and Yakkasaroy ($12.2) districts.  Relatively low prices were found in Uchtepa ($8.1), Sergeli ($7.2) and Bektemir ($6) districts.

In November, the average price of houses on the secondary market increased by 3.9%.  The most significant increase in secondary housing prices was observed in Tashkent region by 22.9 percent, Navoi region by 22 percent and Tashkent city by 22.7 percent.  The price on the secondary housing market in the capital increased by 2.4% in one month.

The highest increase in prices was recorded in Bektemir, Mirabad and Yunusabad districts of the capital.
