As of 1 January 2023, the number of small enterprises and micro-firms under the management of female leaders in Uzbekistan was 36,472. This was reported by the State Statistics Committee.
It is noted that the number of small enterprises and micro-firms under the management of female leaders has increased by 177 compared to the same period last year.
The city of Tashkent took the first place in terms of the number of enterprises managed by women. 9764 such enterprises are operating in the capital.
Regions with the largest number of small enterprises and micro-enterprises operated by female managers:
- 9764 in Tashkent city
- 4760 in Tashkent region
- 3866 in Navoi region
- 2475 in Samarkand region
