School authorities respond to viral paint incident in Kashkadarya (video)

A video showing students in Kashkadarya Region throwing paint at each other has gone viral on social media, prompting a response from the regional Department of Preschool and School Education.

The incident occurred on May 12 at School No. 82 in Chirolchi District, involving 8th to 10th-grade students. During a break, students engaged in spraying paint on each other and the school walls, causing damage to the premises.

According to the school administration, parents of the students involved have been issued official warnings by law enforcement authorities.

Officials clarified that the video was originally recorded by the school’s deputy principal to raise awareness among parents about their children's behavior. However, it was later misinterpreted on social media.

Additionally, disciplinary measures have been taken against class teachers and school administrators for failing to prevent the incident.

Earlier, a school principal in Navoiy Region was reported to have physically assaulted students, sparking further concerns about student discipline and school management.
