Today, 9 March at 11:45 Tashkent time, as a result of the bad weather, 3 people were struck by lightning in the neighborhood civic congregation “Otkamar” of the Dekhkanabad district of the Kashkadarya region. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
As a result of the accident, one citizen died, one of the other two citizens was given medical care and admitted to out-patient treatment. The second citizen received qualified medical care in the district medical unit.
For reference, unusual weather was observed today in Kashkadarya, thick clouds moved into the area causing thunderstorms in certain places.
