Ex-military man stabs and kills two women in Kashkadarya

Two women were fatally stabbed in the Kamashi district of the Kashkadarya region. The information was confirmed to QALAMPIR.UZ by Hayot Shamsiddinov, spokesperson for the Prosecutor General’s Office.

According to the report, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 97 of the Criminal Code (Intentional homicide) in connection with the incident that occurred on October 12. The suspect, a former military serviceman, has been detained.

Media reports indicate that the victims were members of the same family, a daughter and her sister-in-law, while the suspect is believed to be the family’s son-in-law.

It is worth noting that earlier, a 71-year-old woman was found stabbed to death in her home in the Surkhandarya region.
