In Kashkadarya, an explosion occurred involving a machine that sells carbonated water, resulting in the death of one person. This information was reported by the Press Service of the Regional Internal Affairs Department.

According to the report, on June 15th of this year, around 12:00 PM, an explosion took place in front of the Kitab district farmer’s market. The explosion was caused by the high pressure applied to the water storage tank of a gas water-making apparatus, which was assembled manually by T.Y., a resident of the Gulistan neighborhood. The pressure was generated from an oxygen cylinder.

As a result of the explosion, two individuals residing in the Kitab district and Shahrisabz city were injured and admitted to the hospital. Unfortunately, despite the medical treatment provided by doctors, a woman identified as D.A. succumbed to her injuries.

In response to the incident, a criminal case has been initiated by the Investigative Group under the Department of Internal Affairs of Kitab District, based on Article 259, Part 2, Clause “a” of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Preliminary investigations are currently underway.
